Industry and physical asset data sit at the core of how clients understand real-world operations, risk, and opportunity.\nWe are at an inflection point: much of this data today is fragmented, inconsistently modeled, and optimized for specific use cases rather than long-term reuse. This role is an opportunity to rethink and rebuild how Physical Assets & Geospatial data is managed-creating a scalable, sustainable foundation that improves data quality, interoperability, and accessibility across the Terminal.\nThe Team\nThe Industry Data & Supply Chain (IDSP) team is part of Core & Industry Financial Data. We bring together Industry Data, Supply Chain, and Physical Assets & Geospatial (PAGEO) to deliver a unified view of how industries operate and evolve. Our goal is to enable clients-and internal teams-to seamlessly analyze company exposure, supply chain dynamics, and real-world impacts within a connected workflow.\nThe Role\nWe are looking for a Product Manager to lead the evolution of Bloomberg’s Physical Assets & Geospatial data platform.\nThis role goes beyond incremental product development. It requires a fresh perspective on how asset data should be structured, governed, and delivered at scale. You will drive the transformation from fragmented datasets into a cohesive platform that standardizes data models, enforces quality, and enables broad reuse across products and workflows.\nYou will define and execute a strategy to centralize asset data, integrate geospatial capabilities, and build the infrastructure needed to support advanced analytics and event-driven insights. This platform will act as a core foundation for the company's existing products and enable future AI-driven applications.\nKey Responsibilities\nDefine and drive the product strategy for the Physical Assets & Geospatial platform, with a focus on scalability, sustainability, and data quality \nLead the design of data models and architecture to enable standardized, reusable, and well-governed datasets \nBuild and evolve platform capabilities, including geospatial integration, asset-event linking, and data services \nPartner closely with Engineering and Data teams to deliver robust, scalable systems and improve data lifecycle management \nBreak down silos by unifying datasets across domains and ensuring consistency across workflows \nEnable internal and client-facing use cases through accessible APIs, services, and tooling \nCollaborate with multiple PMs to ensure seamless integration of asset, network, and industry data \nDrive client impact and product differentiation in partnership with commercial teams \nYou’ll Need To Have\nExperience as a Product Manager working on data platforms, data infrastructure, or analytics-driven products \nStrong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and scalable platform design \nProven ability to rethink and improve data systems with a focus on long-term sustainability and reuse \nStrong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data challenges into actionable solutions \nExperience working cross-functionally with Engineering and Data teams to deliver complex platform initiatives \nAbility to define clear strategy, prioritize effectively, and execute against a roadmap with measurable outcomes \nStrong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across teams and business lines \nComfort working in agile environments and managing multiple concurrent workstreams \nFluency in using data and product metrics to drive decision-making and improve outcomes \nSolid understanding of Bloomberg Terminal workflows and how data is consumed by clients \n\nLove to See\nAbility to clearly communicate complex ideas through strong storytelling and presentations \nA balance of attention to detail and big-picture thinking \nA proactive, self-driven approach with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement \nPositive energy and a collaborative mindset \nSalary Range = 140,000 - 295,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus\nThe referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.\nWe offer one of the most comprehensive and generous benefits plans available and offer a range of total rewards that may include merit increases, incentive compensation (exempt roles only), paid holidays, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability benefits, 401(k) +match, life insurance, and various wellness programs, among others. The Company does not provide benefits directly to contingent workers/contractors and interns.\nDiscover what makes Bloomberg unique - watch our podcast series for an inside look at our culture, values, and the people behind our success.","description_format":"text","description_chars":5008,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Life insurance","Wellness"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Data & Analytics","Financial Services","Capital Markets","Personal Finance"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-23T17:09:10Z"}],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":6,"reasons":["conf:2","win:early","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-09-24T00:06:29Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":295000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/bloomberg-product-manager-physical-assetsgeospatial","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/bloomberg-product-manager-physical-assetsgeospatial.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-24T00:06:29Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers"}}
