It gives us the edge.\nThe BQuant Desktop Team works closely with Bloomberg’s existing and prospective clients to find solutions to business needs leveraging our Python based quant platform, BQuant.\nWhat's the role?\nYou will use your financial markets knowledge to consult with Bloomberg clients or prospective clients, helping them to develop and implement their investment strategies and research leveraging BQuant . With access to the world's most comprehensive financial database, you will have a direct impact on Bloomberg revenue by working closely with our Sales teams to develop new tactical desktop applications to sell Bloomberg Terminals and improve workflow efficiencies with our existing customer. Your role will involve full life-cycle development, from initial demos to prospective clients, requirement gathering, prototyping, implementation, deployment and adoption.\nWe'll trust you to:\nDrive adoption of the BQuant Desktop platform\nPartner with Sales teams to build tactical BQuant solutions to increase revenue opportunities for the company\nLeverage your previous sales experience to build strong internal and client relationships, effectively positioning BQuant Desktop financial workflows as part of Terminal and Enterprise pre-sales engagements.\nProvide assistance on new strategies or migration projects the clients wish to implement by using BQuant\nWork closely with our Product Development and Software Engineering teams to help drive improvements to our BQuant Platform\nTraining and team support will allow you to gain:\nIn depth knowledge of the Terminal, Bloomberg APIs and BQuant\nA deep understanding of financial markets and investment processes on both buy-side and sell-side\nExperience of open source Python technologies for advanced data visualizations, widgets and analytics\nYou’ll need to have:\nMinimum 2 years of experience working in financial services or a financial technology company\nMinimum 2 years Sales experience\nExperience developing financial models using Python (Bloomberg BQNT experience is a plus)\nA strategic mindset and proven commercial acumen which allows you to weigh up the business opportunities of a project before execution\nConfidence to have highly articulate and consultative interactions with clients\nStrong presentation and communication skills in English\nDemonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation\nWe'd love to see:\nExperience or qualifications in Data Science, Cloud Computing, AI is a plus\nIf indicated, please note that years of experience are a guide;
