Business Development Manager (m/f/d)*

That is why we need you, as Business Development Manager, to own the next stage of our growth and take Bloomwell beyond Germany. We are evaluating International markets and you lead the work of turning that opportunity into reality. You research possible markets, build the entry strategy, set up the right partnerships and structures, and make sure our launches actually succeed rather than just look good on paper. You work closely with management and take full ownership of your domain.

Deine Aufgaben

• Develop and drive market entry strategies for our international markets, tailored to the regulatory and competitive environment of each country
• Conduct in depth market research covering demand, competitors, pricing and regulatory requirements for medical cannabis and related health products
• Build a repeatable market entry playbook covering legal compliance, licensing, local partnerships and operational setup
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with local partners such as distributors, pharmacies, clinics and logistics providers
• Own the business case and commercial plan for each market, including pricing, unit economics and growth levers
• Coordinate cross functional launch activities together with product, marketing, legal, regulatory and operations teams
• Navigate local regulatory and compliance requirements around medical cannabis and healthcare products in cooperation with legal and regulatory affairs
• Monitor performance after launch and adjust the strategy based on real market feedback
• Report progress, risks and recommendations directly to management
• Represent Bloomwell in negotiations and on market visits, with regular travel to our international markets

Dein Profil

• Proven experience leading or heavily driving international market expansion, including full ownership of a market launch from strategy to execution
• Experience in expanding businesses beyond German borders is a strong plus, with a solid understanding of the regulatory, cultural and commercial dynamics of these markets
• Solid understanding of the regulatory and licensing frameworks for medical cannabis in at least one international market, for example bodies such as the MHRA, EOF, FDA, DEA, Health Canada or the TGA, and the ability to quickly get up to speed on new ones
• Background in business development, strategy consulting, venture building or international growth roles
• Willingness to travel regularly
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable building business cases, market sizing models and unit economics
• Confident communicator who negotiates well and holds their own with stakeholders and international partners
• Entrepreneurial mindset, motivated by ambiguity and by building something from zero
• Structured and hands on working style, able to translate strategy into concrete execution
• Fluent English is essential for this role
• Genuine interest in the cannabis industry and health tech is a must, a background in healthcare, pharma or another regulated market is a nice plus
