Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will turn our cafe, digital, and product data into the tools and insights our teams use to run and grow the business. Working closely with Cafe Operations, Digital & Product, and Engineering, you will build trusted data foundations and deliver a clear view of the business, our guests, and our products.\nThis role is remote with a preference for candidates located in Pacific Time. Employees are required to be based within 50 miles of one of the following established Blue Bottle Coffee geographic locations:\n The San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Diego, Boston, Chicago, Washington DC Metro, New York City Metro, Las Vegas\nYou Will:\nSet the data and analytics roadmap, partnering with Engineering on infrastructure, KPI definitions, and a single source of truth.\n\nDrive the organization’s AI reporting and analytics agenda, using tools such as Claude to help management teams quickly analyze performance and act on insights.\n\nLead guest analytics across the app, ordering, subscriptions, and loyalty, connecting digital and in-cafe behavior.\n\nBuild dashboards and tools that help Cafe Operations track sales, traffic, labor, and speed of service.\n\nPartner with Digital & Product to design and evaluate A/B tests for features, offers, and personalization.\n\nAnalyze menu mix, pricing, and launch performance to shape product decisions.\n\nSupport planning, forecasting, and business cases with clear, data-driven recommendations for senior leaders.\n\nYou Are:\nA hands-on analytics leader who enjoys turning data into decisions.\n\nAn exceptional cross-functional partner, from cafe leaders to executives.\n\nA clear communicator who makes complex analysis simple.\n\nHighly organized, with meticulous attention to detail.\n\nCalm in ambiguity and able to create clarity across functions.\n\nPassionate about exceptional guest experiences.\n\nYou Have:\n6+ years in analytics, data science, or business intelligence, ideally in hospitality, retail, or food and beverage\n\nExpert SQL and experience with modern data and BI tools and ERP/Planning systems (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Sigma or Tableau, Netsuite, Adaptive);
