Analyze statistical data, evaluate, and implement improvements to meet contract/schedule/quality requirements\nProvide hands-on support for product and process\nAssume ownership for manufacturing build schedules that meet program schedule milestones\nServe as the primary point of contact for manufacturing non-conforming product, troubleshooting, root cause, failure investigations and corrective actions\nReview drawings, assembly instructions, work orders and engineering change orders for completeness. Implement engineering changes and incorporate corrective action\nAide and assist cognizant engineers in the creation of mechanical and electrical assembly instructions. Focusing on standardizing across projects and products while streamlining workflow of hardware through needed work centers.\nUpdate designs, when necessary, in response to manufacturing issues, parts obsolescence, and system requirement changes\nContribute to and / or present technical data in support of technical exchange meetings, manufacturing / test readiness reviews, and program status reviews with program managers and customers\nWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Design engineering functions, Test engineering, Quality assurance, Supply Chain Management, work centers and outside suppliers. Maintain excellent rapport with internal / external customers\nAssist with tooling design and validation\nOwn and maintain common parts list that are easily supported by manufacturing\nUnderstand and competently use in-house business systems including Configuration Data Management tools, Manufacturing Execution System, MRP, manufacturing shop floor control, and internal status reporting\nOther responsibilities as assigned\nRequired Qualifications/Education:\nBS or AAS degree in an Engineering field or 0-5 or more years of related aerospace experience\nProficiency with interpreting technical engineering drawings, bills of material, and technical documents including test and integration procedures\nExcellent interpersonal skills, strong written communication skills, oral presentation skills and an ability to lead group discussions with both internal and external customers\nRelated technical experience may be considered in lieu of education\nWorking Conditions:\nThis job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.
