The Lead Engineer is responsible for meeting project schedules and ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities : \n\n- Coordinates technical tasks and ensures teams are working efficiently; oversees the development/support of specific IT areas and systems, and timely delivery of projects. (25%)\n\n- Contributes to defining new business requirements; identifies and communicates risks to the business; investigates and proposes new tools and frameworks to deliver quality products faster. (10%)\n\n- Acts as a liaison between project management, technical teams and IT leadership; assures best practices are defined and followed; drives consistency across applications and projects wherever possible. (5%)\n\n- Manages all aspects of coding for the team branching, code review, ensure code reusability and maintainability with constant refactoring, collaboration with Enterprise Architecture team on standards and approaches. (10%)\n\n- Coding project deliverables (25%)\n\n- Mentor developers and help resolve technical roadblocks; conduct collaborative code reviews and coordinate the deployment and implementation of software solutions. (20%)\n\n- Available for production application deployment and troubleshooting hours and/or on an on-call basis. (5%)\n\nTech Stack : \n\n- Android, C#, Xamarin, Maui, React-Native, Typescript, JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, SQL (Oracle), GIT.\n\nRequirements : \n\n- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.\n\n- 8+ years software development experience including creating business applications with relational and non-relational database systems.\n\n- 4+ years of demonstrated experience in a technical lead role.\n\n- 4+ years of mobile application development Android required.\n\n- Advanced knowledge of IT software development methodologies and processes in an agile environment (Scrum).\n\n- Experience with distributed data services (REST APIs, Messaging Buses) and SOA design patterns.\n\n- Experience with multithreaded application design and UNIX Shell scripting.\n\n- Experience with asynchronous messaging frameworks (Google Firebase preferred).\n\nWork Environment : \n\n- This job operates in a professional office environment.
