This position also completes computerized transactions for product traceability and inventory management. Working as part of a team, you will help process and package raw almonds to their highest quality, in the safest possible manner.RESPONSIBILITIES:\nComplete floor and equipment cleaning, housekeeping, sanitation, and preventative maintenance tasks to sustain operations.\nAssemble/reassemble bulk containers. Strap, seal and tape cartons or other container components. \nMove bulk materials using a hand or powered pallet jack.\nAdhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), understand almond characteristics, and conduct quality checks to ensure products meets specifications.\nCommunicate effectively with team members to resolve issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nSafely operate processing equipment according to established standards to achieve production targets while maintaining quality.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the Department Manager, Supervisor, or Floor Lead.\nWHAT YOU NEED\n*Minimum qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED\nWork overtime; occasionally flex hours\nAbility to lift 50 pounds\n*Preferred qualifications\nPrevious experience in food manufacturing\nAt least 1 year machine operating experience\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nThis is a standard manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, hazardous materials, and heavy machinery in varying work and weather conditions.
