This is an exciting position that is fast paced, requires proficient troubleshooting skills, and candidates must have excellent customer service skills and patience. As an IT Technician you will be responsible to provide support to various Blue Mantis clients remotely.\nKey Responsibilities\nTroubleshoot hardware/software issues on Windows client operating systems, MAC, as well as Microsoft server operating systems.\nManage help desk requests submitted by phone, email, or chat. Document all support requests and resolutions in a ticketing system.\nManage complex projects including on-prem to cloud conversions (Exchange to O365, server virtualization and migration to the cloud, etc)\nHave a reliable vehicle to travel to customer locations to resolve requests that require an onsite visit. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.\nGenerate Certificate Signing Requests (CSRs) and private keys securely as well as installation and configuration on web servers like IIS\n\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\n3-5 years of IT experience working remotely or onsite supporting end users. \nRelated industry certifications preferred (A+, MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, CCNA, etc)\nSupporting HP, Dell, Intel, or Lenovo client and server hardware\nSupporting Windows operating systems such as Windows 10/11 and server operating systems ranging from 2012 to 2022\nVirtualization technology including Hyper-V and VMWare ESXI Virtual Servers. \nStrong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP\nNetwork systems knowledge including switch management (variety of hardware vendors), VLANs, routing, firewall support including WatchGuard, SonicWALL, Cisco, and Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls. \nMicrosoft 365 Administration\nWireless experience managing and supporting autonomous and managed access points.\nMinimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or office support role. \n\nHourly Rate Range: $38.46 to 48.08 CAD\nPlease note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
