Proactive and reliable, with the ability to work in demanding environments and support safe, efficient on-water operations.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nPreventative Maintenance and Seasonal ServicePerform annual and 100-hour service. Tune ups for improved performance and fuel efficiency\nMarine systems and Electrical\nSafety inspections and pre-trip checks\nWork alongside Technical and Operations teams\nGoal: Keep all equipment healthy and avoid breakdowns\n\nEngine ServicesOutboard & Diesel Engine diagnostics & troubleshooting\nFuel system cleaning & repair (carburetors, injectors, fuel pumps)\nCooling system service (water pumps, impellers, thermostats)\nElectrical repairs (charging systems, batteries, wiring)\nPowerhead rebuilds & overhauls\nMercury Bravo 3 Lower unit reseals & rebuilds, along with Jet Drive service and installations.\nMercury Outdrive, Styer Deisel and Jet Drive training available.\nGoal: Fix performance issues and restore drivability when something is wrong\n\nRigging and Motor InstallationsNew outboard sales & installation\nRe-rigging older boats with new motors\nSteering systems (hydraulic, electronic, and mechanical)\nControls, gauges, and electronic display installs\nBravo 3, Jet Drive & performance rigging\nGoal: Set up or reconfigure equipment on the boat\n\nFiberglass & Hull ServicesFiberglass crack and chip repairs\nStructural repairs (stringers, transoms, decks)\nHull refinishing & polishing\nCosmetic scratch, gouge, and impact damage repair\n\nRequired Qualifications\nProven experience as a service technician or mechanic within the marine industry or related fields\nProficiency in using hand tools, and power tools\nExperience with rigging operations and fabricating custom parts\nAbility to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for troubleshooting and repairs\nPhysical capacity for heavy lifting and working in demanding environments; willingness to perform maintenance tasks in various weather conditions\nMust be able to handle small boats 25’- 30’ on and off the water; loading, towing, launching along with basic seamanship skills\nPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions\nMust be able to walk, stand, and navigate large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended periods of time.\nAbility to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.\nUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policy.\nMay be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections, maintenance walk-throughs, or emergency response situations.\nRegular exposure to facility operations including noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment.\nOccasional off-hours or weekend work required for emergency facility responses or projects as needed\nRequires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks.\nBackground Check\nThis position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check.
