This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers (use as appropriate), you will will lead project controls, contract administration, and cross-functional coordination for Blue Origin's launch pad facility and future launch infrastructure upgrades. This role functionally reports to the Senior Construction Project Manager, with dotted line reporting to the Site General Superintendent, managing budgets, schedules, procurement, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful project delivery from planning through closeout.\nSpecial Mentions\nRelocation provided\nInterviews will include a technical assessment\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nManage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting across multiple trades and disciplines\nDevelop, maintain, and analyze critical path schedules in coordination with the project team and subcontractors\nLead contract administration, including subcontractor pay applications, change orders, and submittal review\nDirect procurement coordination for materials and equipment required for launch infrastructure construction\nPrepare and present project status reports, risk assessments, and stakeholder communications\nAdvise on appropriate project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build) and contract vehicles (Firm Fixed Price, Cost, Cost Plus, Time & Materials) based on project scope and risk profile\nCoordinate between design engineering, construction superintendents, and subcontractors to resolve field issues\nOversee document control, including RFIs, drawings, specifications, and project correspondence within Procore and the project EDMS\nIdentify, track, and mitigate project risks, escalating issues to senior leadership as needed\nLead project meetings and drive action items to closure\nMentor Assistant Construction Project Managers\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or suitable experience with similar project scope and scale\n4+ years of experience managing construction projects on large industrial projects exceeding $75M in total project value\nExperience on projects involving multiple trades and disciplines (e.g., civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, piping)\nOSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification\nFormal Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling training/certification\nWorking proficiency with Procore or similar construction project management platforms\nExperience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) for document control, transmittals, and records management\nDemonstrated understanding of project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build) and contract vehicles (Firm Fixed Price, Cost, Cost Plus, Time & Materials), including when each is appropriately applied\nExperience with contract administration, change order management, and submittal processes\nProficiency with scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\nAbility to work in various weather conditions and navigate active construction sites\nMay require lifting up to 25 pounds\nMust be willing to travel to launch sites as needed\nMay require extended hours during critical project phases\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior experience in aerospace, power generation, or similar industrial facilities\nExposure to launch pad, test stand, or similar specialized infrastructure construction\nFamiliarity with aerospace industry standards and requirements\nExperience in remote or logistically challenging construction environments\nUnderstanding of cryogenic systems, high-pressure piping, or specialized aerospace infrastructure\nProcore Certified: Project Manager\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or progress toward\nCertified Construction Manager (CCM)\nDesign-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Professional Certification\nPrimavera P6 Certification\nProgress toward Certified Professional Constructor (CPC)\nSix Sigma Green Belt or similar process improvement certification\nStrong problem-solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills\nCulture Statement\nDon’t meet all desired requirements?
