Join us in lowering the cost of access to space and enabling Blue Origin’s vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth.\nAs part of a small hardworking team of engineers, you will be responsible for design, analysis, development and testing of secondary structures for MK2 (Artemis 3 and 4). In this role, you will take ownership of designs from concept through launch, perform initial sizing and detailed analysis, and work directly with our manufacturing teams to ensure successful hardware integration.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, analysis, development, and testing of primary and secondary structures, including composites and metallic piece parts, as well as integrated structural assemblies.\nBuild 3D models, detail part drawings, assemblies, installations, and interface control documents\nProvide technical guidance for integration and general Liaison Engineering support.\nCoach, mentor and technically assist junior engineers.\nSupport configuration development and trade studies\nApply practical approaches to hardware fabrication and cost impacts\nCreate test plans, specifications, and other documentation for the development of flight hardware\nWork with vertically-integratedteams that are responsible for materials, manufacturing processes, to produce world-class aerospace hardware\nPlan and conduct tests, and review data.\nMaintaining and reporting on activity schedule, budget and technical status.\nFind opportunities for safety improvements and operational cost savings.\nWe are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight.
