Join us in lowering the cost of access to space and enabling Blue Origin’s vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nDevelop Electrical Power System (EPS) test plans and procedures to be executed in Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testbeds to ensure the correctness and performance of our avionics and ground support equipment. \nLead the test planning and execution on the EPS test bed.\nSupport the integration of flight avionics hardware, ground support equipment, operator consoles and analysis tooling necessary to verify the requirements and performance of units under test within the EPS test bed.\nSupport the design and build of the HIL test beds with a focus on the lab infrastructure (Racks, Harnesses, Mechanisms).\nDesign, develop and implement HIL automation infrastructure\nSupport the design and development of Special Test Equipment (STE) and integrate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to simulate and stimulate Articles Under Test (AUTs) or capture AUT output and interface performance.\nCollaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware simulation and fault injection solutions with real-time vehicle simulations.\nMinimum Qualifications\nB.S. in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or related technical discipline\n5+ years of experience working with electronics or electrical/electromechanical systems, including hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: prototyping, design, integration, and/or test\nExperience integrating and testing vehicle systems\nExperience developing special electronic test equipment and troubleshooting equipment\nProficient in the use of standard electronic lab tests and troubleshooting equipment\nPreference for and ability to thrive as a member of a small, tightly integrated team \nGood written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills\nMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.\nPreferred Qualifications\nM.S. degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or related technical discipline\n8+ years of relevant experience\nExperience with the development and execution of a large-scale verification of avionics on autonomous spaceflight systems\nExperience supporting testbeds for spaceflight systems\nExperience with programming in C++ and/or Python, Simulink experience\nBase Pay Range for:\nWA applicants is $130,706.00 - $182,987.70Other site ranges may differ\nCulture Statement\nDon’t meet all desired requirements?
