As part of a diverse and hardworking team of technicians, you will perform multiple NDT methods for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of assuring part integrity, quality and life span. Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic inspections using film and digital radiography panels
• Establish and maintain techniques to properly examine hardware, ensuring adherence to all safety and specification requirements
• Interpret inspection results and apply acceptance criteria identified on drawing or shop work order
• Perform all necessary daily, weekly, monthly process control checks
• Documentation and organization of inspection results
• Interface/communicatewith Engineers and/or Managers to describe inspection results

Qualifications:

• Level 2 experience in radiography (Film, DR, )
• Must be able to pass Radiography General Test within a week of start date, and a Specific Test by week 3 (General Test study materials will be provided if needed)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to support Monday - Thursday, 2nd Shift with occasional overtime
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Desired:

• Experience with isotope work
• Computed Tomography (CT)
• Dye penetrant (PT)
• Experience in low rate to high mix production environment, preferably in aerospace
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including welding, additive manufacturing, forging, casting, and composites fabrication

• Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
