This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.We are building the digital backbone of next-generation autonomous manufacturing at Blue Origin. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help develop intelligent, agentic systems that connect design, production, supply chain, and factory operations into an integrated autonomous ecosystem.\nYou will work with our automation team to design and implement autonomous agents that make intelligent decisions across manufacturing workflows-from material ordering to production optimization to quality assurance.\nKey Responsibilities: \nDesign and develop autonomous agents that coordinate across manufacturing domains (design, supply chain, production, quality)\nBuild integrations between factory systems, design platforms, and material management systems\nDevelop decision-making logic and workflows for autonomous factory operations\nCreate monitoring and control systems for agentic workflows in production\nCollaborate with automation engineers to embed autonomous capabilities into our factory systems\nImplement data pipelines that feed real-time factory and supply chain data into decision systems\nEnsure autonomous systems operate safely, securely, and within compliance requirements\nOptimize system performance and responsiveness for real-time factory operations\nDocument system architectures, workflows, and decision logic\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field\n5-7 years of software development experience\nStrong experience building distributed systems and workflows\nProficiency with Python or similar languages\nExperience integrating multiple systems/APIs\nPreferred Qualifications: \nExperience with agentic systems, multi-agent systems, or autonomous workflows\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes or supply chain systems\nExperience with event-driven architectures and message systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)\nFamiliarity with manufacturing automation hardware and PLCs\nMachine vision or IoT device integration experience\nML/AI fundamentals for decision-making systems\nBase Pay Range for:\nCA applicants is $197,529.00 - $276,539.55\nWA applicants is $197,529.00 - $276,539.55Other site ranges may differ\nCulture Statement\nDon’t meet all desired requirements?
