Passion for our mission and vision is required!\nSpecial Mentions\nRelocation provided\nTravel expected up to 50% of the time\nKent WA or Merritt Island FL\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nChampion safety always and first-time quality across all functions while growing and developing your team.\nLead manufacturing operations to include manufacturing engineering, quality, tooling engineering, supply chain, and production execution for a portfolio of work centers across Blue Operations sites as required.\nExecute initiatives and strategies that deliver common components which are cost effective, high quality, and meet or exceed operational performance requirements supporting vehicle development programs within the Business Unit.\nImplement methods to increase engineering, production efficiency, quality, and productivity to include factory flow and higher throughput within existing floor space, improving first pass yield, increased overall output, improved learning curve, and improving supplier on-time delivery.\nShare key operational learnings and best practices to support improvement across Operations.\nAnalyze processes and operations followed by implementing improvements for safety and quality that reduce unit cost and accelerate delivery schedules.\nSupport the development and implementation of data-driven systems with a lean approach focused on delivering results.\nLeverage Blue Origin's Leadership Principles to cultivate a trusting, learning culture through continuous feedback, coaching, and development opportunities. Foster a \"One Team Mindset.\"\nMinimum Qualifications\nDemonstrated knowledge in building or supporting successful production operations and contributing to change management initiatives that influence culture, define tools & processes, and improve competencies.\nBA or BS degree or equivalent experience with emphasis in Operations Management or Manufacturing Engineering.\n6+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.\nStrong knowledge and applied experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.\nExperience leading, growing, and developing teams within an integrated supply chain organization.\nSolid knowledge in manufacturing, production, assembly, procurement, and logistics in a low-volume, high-complexity environment.\nStrong business acumen.
