Passion for our mission and vision is required!\nPosition Specific Details:\nLocation: Space Coast, FL\nRelocation: Available\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead and optimize manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and quality.\nDevelop and execute production build plans to meet delivery schedules.\nMentor manufacturing teams, providing guidance and fostering a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and openness, and sharing information to foster unity.\nCollaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to address manufacturing challenges, balancing day-to-day activities with strategic planning.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and metrics.\nMonitor production performance and provide regular updates to senior management, demonstrating sound judgment and understanding the impact of team actions on business drivers and adapting to industry changes.\nEnsure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards, and take initiative on opportunities and challenges with urgency and enthusiasm.\nManage budget and resource allocation for manufacturing activities.\nSupport new product introductions and scale up production capabilities.\nEvaluate inputs and criteria to make informed decisions with a focus on decision quality.\nTeam Focus & Domain Expertise:\nIn this role you will lead and mentor a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Planners who are developing and supporting the design and integration of New Glenn first stage. This role will require you to demonstrate your ability to interact with the vehicle to proactively improve design for manufacturability, eliminate barriers and solve unforeseen technical problems.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n5+ years of experience managing a team within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.\n5+ years of experience as an individual contributor within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, Military, or equivalent experience required.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.\nAbility to analyze data and metrics to drive decision-making and operational improvements.\nAbility to lift 50lbs and comfortable working at heights (work stands, ladders, lifts) and/or in confined spaces. \nProficiency in digital tools, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nIndustry certification, trade school training and/or degree in related field. \nExperience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or other relevant field\nExperience working on fluid systems with applied chemistry fundamentals.\nExperience with advanced manufacturing technologies and tools (e.g., CAD software, ERP systems).\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\nFamiliarity with regulatory compliance in aerospace manufacturing.\nProven track record of successful team leadership and project management.\nStrong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and practices.\nLean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification. \nWillingness to work overtime. \nCulture Statement\nDon’t meet all desired requirements?
