Built for multiple uses, our family of engines is powering the next generation of rockets for commercial, civil, national security, and human spaceflight.Sr. Product Integration Engineer\nRole Overview\nThe role will directly contribute to developing unique prototypes that support Blue Origin’s mission of enabling a future where millions of people are living and working in space. This program will design, build, and test hardware in turbomachinery and fluid mechanical systems.\nAs a Product Integration Engineer, you will own the planning and deployment of novel large-scale systems. You will partner closely with systems engineering, design, analysis, test, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations to deliver, install, and activate systems. on time, within scope, and to quality and safety expectations.\nThis role is highly cross-functional and requires both strong technical acumen and disciplined project management.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain integrated resource loaded master schedules, milestones, and critical paths for installing and activating complex systems.\nDefine scope, deliverables, and success criteria in partnership with technical leads and operations.\nCreate first-of-a-kind AI based tools necessary to drive, track, and communicate installation, MRO, and MRP.\nWork with design, test, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure on-time delivery of end items.\nIdentify and establish outside contracting support capable of meeting high standards of workmanship and compliance with local codes.\nEnsure configuration control and accurate traceability of hardware throughout product life cycle.\nOwn program status reporting (schedule, cost, risk) to the leadership and stakeholders.\nProvide clear, concise, and data-driven updates; escalate issues early with options and recommendations.\nPartner with supply chain, manufacturing, and quality to ensure long-lead items, critical components, and key processes are planned and executed.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).\n10+ years of experience in program or project management for multi-disciplinary engineering efforts.\nDemonstrated experience managing integrated schedules (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, or equivalent) and leading cross-functional teams.\nStrong understanding of product development lifecycles, from concept through design, test, production, and operations.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, requirements, and test data, and to engage credibly with technical subject matter experts.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting status and trade studies to leadership.\nMust be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident) due to access to controlled data/technology.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical field.\nExperience with complex fluids system development (liquid propulsion, turbomachinery, combustion devices, cryogenic systems, etc.).\nExperience executing programs in a development + production environment (prototype to rate production).\nExperience planning, building, and activating large scale systems.\nExperience with Earned Value Management (EVM), cost/schedule integration, and/or formal risk management frameworks.\nPrior experience as a technical lead, IPT lead, or systems engineer on complex hardware programs.\nExperience operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with evolving requirements and aggressive schedules.\nAdditional Requirements\nWillingness to travel occasionally between sites and to test facilities as program needs dictate.\nAbility to support off-hours critical operations as required by program milestones.\nPassion for Blue Origin’s mission and for developing advanced propulsion systems that enable a permanent human presence in space.\nBase Pay Range for:\nWA applicants is $145,188.00 - $203,263.20Other site ranges may differ\nCulture Statement\nDon’t meet all desired requirements?
