This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.We are seeking a skilled Technician in Integration Engineering who will become a part of the Operation Red Team and leverage their technical expertise and leadership to ensure safe and efficient human spaceflight. This role involves setting up production areas, operating precision tools, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to support our mission of safe space exploration.\nKey Responsibilities:\nConfigure new production work areas with the necessary tooling and equipment to ensure efficient workflow and minimize any potential delays during the transition to high-rate manufacturing.\n\nOperate material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.) and precision calibrated tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, etc.) to maintain high safety and quality standards.\n\nIdentify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency, enhancing overall productivity.\n\nDrive the transition from development to production, proactively performing troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.\n\nMaintain clean and organized work areas following 5S principles to promote safety and operational efficiency.\n\nTasks involve preparing and testing payload systems and hardware by applying materials, conducting painting, sealing, composite layup, repairs, testing, and assisting with vehicle assembly and installation.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another related field.\n\nFamiliarity with one or more of the following: Basic use of hand tools & Drills\n\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.\n\nExperience with precision calibration tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, and optical measuring instruments.\n\nAbility to lift 50lbs and comfortable working at heights (work stands, ladders, lifts) and/or in confined spaces.\n\nExpertise in various applications, including adhesives, sealants, and thermal blankets.\n\nProficiency in digital tools, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications.\n\nWillingness to work overtime.\n\nDesired:\nIndustry certification, trade school training, and/or degree in a related field\n\nVocational Trade School in Aviation or Aerospace Discipline preferred\n\nProven success as a “hands-on” technical leader\n\nWork optimally with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities\n\nContinuous improvement attitude.
