This role is suited to a DevOps professional who can work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and support development teams in delivering secure and reliable applications.\n\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n DevOps & CI/CD\n\n Design, build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines.\n\n Automate application build, testing and deployment processes.\n\n Manage source-code and version-control workflows using Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.\n\n Implement automated testing and deployment practices.\n\n Troubleshoot pipeline failures and deployment issues.\n\n Improve deployment speed, reliability and consistency.\n\n Cloud Infrastructure\n\n Deploy, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure.\n\n Work with platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n\n Manage cloud resources, environments and configurations.\n\n Support infrastructure scalability, availability and performance.\n\n Implement infrastructure monitoring and cost-conscious resource management.\n\n Infrastructure as Code & Automation\n\n Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using tools such as:\n\n Terraform\n\n Ansible\n\n CloudFormation\n\n Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks.\n\n Maintain configuration management and environment consistency.\n\n Containers & Orchestration\n\n Build and manage containerised applications using Docker.\n\n Support container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.\n\n Troubleshoot container, networking and deployment issues.\n\n Assist with maintaining development, staging and production environments.\n\n Monitoring & Reliability\n\n Implement and maintain system monitoring, logging and alerting.\n\n Monitor application and infrastructure performance.\n\n Identify and resolve availability, performance and reliability issues.\n\n Participate in incident investigation and root-cause analysis.\n\n Assist with backup, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.\n\n Security\n\n Apply DevSecOps principles throughout development and deployment processes.\n\n Implement secure access controls and secrets management.\n\n Support vulnerability management and patching.\n\n Ensure infrastructure and deployment processes follow security best practices.\n\n Assist with maintaining secure cloud and application environments.\n\n Collaboration\n\n Work closely with developers, software engineers and technical stakeholders.\n\n Support development teams with deployment and infrastructure requirements.\n\n Document infrastructure, deployment procedures and technical processes.\n\n Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support where required.\n\n Participate in remote technical meetings and project discussions.\n\n Requirements \n REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS\n\n The ideal candidate should have practical experience with several of the following:\n\n Cloud\n\n AWS, Azure and/or GCP\n\n Cloud networking and infrastructure\n\n IAM and access Minimum Requirements\n\n Diploma, Degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.\n\n 3+ years' experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure or a related technical role.\n\n Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.\n\n Experience working with cloud environments.\n\n Strong Linux and scripting knowledge.\n\n Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.\n\n Experience with Git-based development workflows.\n\n Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.\n\n Advantageous\n\n AWS, Azure or GCP certification.\n\n Terraform certification.\n\n Kubernetes certification.\n\n Experience with DevSecOps.\n\n Experience with microservices and API-based architectures.\n\n Experience supporting production environments.\n\n Experience with automated testing and deployment.\n\n Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.\n\n KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)\n\n Success in this role will be measured through:\n\n CI/CD pipeline reliability and performance.\n\n Reduction in deployment failures and downtime.\n\n Successful automation of manual processes.\n\n Infrastructure
