Place clean items in proper storage area.\nTake out garbage throughout the work day, separating food waste from recycled items and compostable items, and using proper dumpsters to dispose of trash, compost and recycling.\nSweep and mop all areas of the kitchen during open hours as needed, and at the end of service daily, resetting the floor mats and placing clean trash cans in the kitchen area.\nFollow cleaning schedule as designated by the Culinary Management team, maintaining highest quality of areas at all times.\nReport to work in proper uniform.\nPerform other relevant tasks as required.\nRequirements\nEducation and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nAny combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.\nCompletion of City of Chicago Department of Public Health Certified Food Service certification preferred, or ability to complete the certification within 30 days after date of hire.\nEssential Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.
