appearance.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nRespond promptly to guestroom and public area maintenance requests, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, door locks, and general repairs.\nPerform scheduled maintenance rounds throughout guestrooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and other hotel facilities.\nIdentify, report, and correct maintenance deficiencies, safety hazards, and equipment issues.\nComplete preventive maintenance tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer.\nAssist with guestroom inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs.\nTroubleshoot and perform basic repairs on hotel mechanical systems, fixtures, appliances, and equipment within the scope of training and authorization.\nMaintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.\nFollow up on completed work to ensure repairs meet hotel standards and guest expectations.\nRespond to emergency maintenance situations and assist with building systems and life-safety concerns as directed.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including the proper care and storage of tools and equipment.\nCommunicate maintenance concerns, equipment failures, and recurring issues to the Chief Engineer.\nProvide courteous, professional service when interacting with guests, colleagues, and other hotel departments.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nPrevious building maintenance, hotel engineering, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.\nWorking knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance.\nAbility to troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently.\nStrong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nAbility to respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.\nFlexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as required by hotel
