If you're one of them, this role is for you.\nBlue Sky Plumbing is looking for an Operations Manager to own the results of our Denver operation. You'll have real authority, real visibility, and a direct line to the leadership team. You won't be maintaining the status quo. You'll be building what's next, and your results will show up in the numbers, in your team, and in our customers' homes.\nWho We're Looking For\nYou've run a home services operation (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or similar) and moved the needle: revenue up, margins up, turnover down, customer satisfaction up. You hold yourself to a higher standard than anyone else could. When something misses, your first question is \"What could I have done differently?\" You'd rather be handed a hard problem than an easy one.\nYou think in systems and see patterns before others do. You're also a leader people trust: perceptive, self-aware, and able to coach technicians and managers through tough conversations while keeping their respect. You raise the bar for the people around you, and you're still ambitious about your own next chapter.\nWhat You'll Own\nResults: Full accountability for the performance of Denver operations: revenue, margin, productivity, and customer experience\nPlanning and targets: Set and cascade annual revenue goals, KPIs, and incentive structures, then run the cadence that makes them happen\nLeadership: Lead, coach, and develop Field Managers, Dispatch, and a team of [XX]+ skilled professionals\nDecision-making culture: Equip your managers to make sharp decisions from sales data, technician feedback, and clear accountability\nPresence in the field: Stay visible through regular ride-alongs and job-site visits, so standards hold where the work happens\nCross-functional partnership: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, HR, and Finance to improve scheduling, lead flow, and handoffs\nMarketing ROI: Make sure marketing dollars are driving efficient, profitable growth in the Denver market\nVendors: Support vendor discussions and negotiations\nTalent: Recruit, retain, and develop top performers and build a culture people are proud to be part of\nRequirements\n8-12 years of progressive leadership in home services or a closely related field-service business, with proven P&L or operational ownership\nA track record of measurable results you can speak to specifically (growth, profitability, retention, customer satisfaction)\nStrategic thinking paired with disciplined execution: you can turn big goals into weekly actions\nComfort in the data: you find the insight, make the call, and adjust fast\nHigh emotional intelligence: you read people well, give direct feedback with care, and influence beyond your direct reports\nClear, confident communication with technicians, executives, and customers alike\nStrong organization and the ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and field-service management software (ServiceTitan, etc.)\nA deep sense of ownership, integrity, and commitment to doing right by customers and the team\nBenefits\nSalary Range: $100,000 -
