This role involves supervising field technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and coordinating with project managers and stakeholders to ensure seamless deployment and operation of fiber networks within our communities.\nKey Responsibilities\nLeadership & Team Coordination:\nSupervise, mentor, and train fiber technicians to ensure efficient and high-quality work.\nAssign daily tasks and oversee project progress within fiber communities.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and industry standards.\nAct as a key point of contact between field teams, engineers, and senior leadership.\nFiber Installation & Maintenance:\nOversee and perform fiber optic cable installations, including aerial and underground cabling.\nConduct fiber splicing, terminations, and testing using OTDR, power meters, and other diagnostic tools.\nTroubleshoot fiber optic network issues and ensure prompt resolution.\nEnsure proper documentation of fiber network layouts, test results, and maintenance logs.\nHandle High volume B2B and Fiber Escalations in the Tradition, and surrounding Communities.\nVerifying light prior to installations to prevent failed installations from occurring. \nAssisting fellow Technicians and leads in the field.\nAssist with closing Ticket View Tickets to prevent escalations.\n Project, Quality and Safety Management:\nEnsure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and client specifications.\nConduct site surveys, risk assessments, and inspections for fiber installation projects.\nCollaborate with Senior Management and planners to optimize fiber routes and network efficiency.\nManage Ticketing system for timely resolution on issues that arise within the Atlanta Region.
