This role provides overall project leadership, stakeholder management, governance and performance oversight from project mobilisation through to final completion.\nThe key responsibilities for this role are:\nLead project mobilisation, implementation and operational readiness activities\nDevelop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, milestones and delivery strategies\nManage customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact for project delivery matters\nCoordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across all project activities\nOversee project governance, reporting, risk management and change management processes\nIdentify risks, issues and constraints, implementing mitigation and recovery strategies where required\nManage project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, invoicing, variations and budget monitoring\nEnsure compliance with contractual obligations, company procedures, HSE requirements and customer standards\nReview and approve key operational plans, schedules and resource requirements\nManage project documentation, records, reporting and close-out requirements\nSupport claims management, dispute resolution and commercial negotiations where required\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned throughout project delivery\nEnsure successful project completion and customer satisfaction through effective communication, coordination and leadership\nTo be successful in this role, you'll need:\nExperience in the management of oversized/out of gauge cargo\nProven track record in the set up and management of Project sites\nDiploma of First Degree, or relevant experience\n10+ years International Logistics experience\nStrong negotiation skills\nComplete understanding of BWS values\nEnglish spoken and written - CEFR Level 5\nIT - intermediate Word, Excel and Outlook\nCargoWise experience is desireable\nMust be able to gain and maintain a Criminal History clearance\nAbout Us\nBlue Water Shipping (BWS) is a global provider of all logistics services in the modern supply chain management.
