individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting software enhancements and customizations for the Blue Yonder WMS product suite. \nHe/She will also be responsible for ensuring quality releases of the Software Package based on CI/CD agile principles. \nThe engineer will have to align with the Dev Lead/Scrum Lead on all Jira Tasks assigned within the estimates provided. \nThis role requires strong technical expertise, coupled with functional knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS/Logistic), to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer and business requirements.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nUnderstand business objectives and analyze customer requirements to propose effective technical solutions.\nShould be able to provide effort estimates and create Technical Approach document.\nDevelop, code, and unit test high-quality solutions in accordance with established standards and best practices.\nPrepare and manage software releases, rollouts, and patches, including release planning, scheduling, and creation of release notes.\nProvide technical inputs and high-level estimates (HLEs) to support pre-sales activities.\nCollaborate with customers and project teams to review requirements, specifications, and proposed solutions.\nEnsure all deliverables, including code and documentation, undergo peer reviews and follow up to ensure feedback is addressed.\nPerform risk assessments, prepare quotes, and define high-level functional and technical approaches for new software changes based on alignment with Dev Lead.\nInvestigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues, providing code fixes and unit testing in compliance with defined SLAs.\nProvide on-site or remote support for go-live activities, dry runs, testing, and other deployment related needs and work during customer time zones.\nCoordinate and deliver product or solution demonstrations to clients. \n\nWhat We Are Looking For\n\nBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant disciplines (MCA, MSc in Computer Science etc.) \nTotal Experience – 3 yrs to 7.5 yrs\nExperience with Java, Ext JS, Java Script, PL SQL\nPrior experience with Blue Yonder / JDA / RedPrairie WMS or other WMS platforms is an added advantage.\nExperience in test management and test execution.\nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies.\nUse of AI Tools like Cursor AI, Replit AI, GitHub copilot for Development, code re-factoring and unit testing \nIn-depth knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, and database tools (e.g., SQL Developer, SQL Management Studio). \nStrong experience with source code control systems such as GitHub, Jenkins. \nProficiency in working with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems, including command line usage.\nWorking knowledge of JIRA for issue and project tracking. \nAbility to evaluate competing solutions and make informed decisions to achieve optimal outcomes. \nWillingness to take ownership of end-to-end project delivery and provide technical guidance to assigned engineers. \nConfidence in making suggestions and recommendations for continuous improvement.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships.\nStrong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and ensure seamless information flow. \nProactively seeks assistance and feedback when appropriate to improve outcomes. \nDemonstrates consistent behavior aligned with Blue Yonder standards,
