\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nJob Summary\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal plant efficiency, equipment reliability, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and the effective management of production and maintenance teams.\nThe ideal candidate is an Electrical / Electronics Engineer with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in plant operations and maintenance.\nThe candidate must possess valid COREN and NEMSA certifications and demonstrate strong leadership, technical, and problem-solving abilities.\nWe are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Engineerto oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and performance of our manufacturing plant.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPrepare operational reports, maintenance records, and performance analyses for management.\nEnsure all plant assets are properly maintained and utilized effectively.\nManage the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.\nDevelop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all plant equipment.\nMonitor plant performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.\nSupervise, mentor, and evaluate plant personnel to drive high performance and accountability.\nDevelop and monitor plant budgets, maintenance costs, and resource utilization.\nCollaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Engineering teams to achieve operational objectives.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.\nEnsure electrical installations, maintenance activities, and operations comply with NEMSA regulations and industry standards.\nCoordinate maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and production interruptions.\nInvestigate equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.\nManage inventory levels for spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials.\n\nJob Requirements\n\nApplicants must possess:\n\nProven experience managing electrical systems, industrial equipment, and plant maintenance.\nKnowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.\nValid NEMSA Certification/Licence (Compulsory).\nExperience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.\nValid COREN Registration (Compulsory).\nA minimum of 5 years' experience in plant management, plant maintenance, or manufacturing operations.\nStrong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.\nA Bachelor's Degree (B.Eng. or B.Sc.) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.\n\nRequired Skills:\n\nDecision-Making & Problem-Solving\nPlant Operations Management\nExcellent experience is an advantage).\nTroubleshooting & Fault Diagnosis\nLeadership & Team Management\nQuality Management Systems\nPreventive & Corrective Maintenance\n\nEducational Qualification\n\nCOREN Registration (Mandatory).\nAdditional certifications in Project Management, HSE, Maintenance Management, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma will be an added advantage.\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.\nNEMSA Certification/Licence (Mandatory).\n\nExperience:\n\nMinimum of 5 years' experience managing plant operations or industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated experience supervising technical teams and ensuring operational excellence.\nExperience in electrical installations, industrial automation, or manufacturing systems is
