This leader will own the technical direction, architecture, delivery, and operational excellence of a complex, data-intensive platform that gives enterprises, telcos, and government agencies deep, predictive visibility into network health, performance, and behavior - from the data center and campus to the WAN, cloud, and edge.\nThis is a highly cross-functional leadership role partnering closely with Product Management, Customer Care, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure tight alignment between engineering execution, customer experience, and business outcomes.\nExperience\nWe are looking for someone who has experience:\nSetting the technical direction and multi-year engineering roadmap for a network observability, network performance monitoring (NPM), or infrastructure monitoring product line\nLeading engineering teams that have delivered successful enterprise infrastructure products and services, both SaaS and on-prem\nArchitecting and scaling data-intensive platforms that ingest, process, and analyze network telemetry - flow data (NetFlow/IPFIX/sFlow), SNMP, packet capture, synthetic testing, and streaming telemetry\nDelivering AI (ML, Generative, Agentic) capabilities for anomaly detection, root-cause analysis, and predictive insights that reduce mean-time-to-resolution\nEvolving long-lived code bases and developing a pragmatic go-forward plan to retire tech debt\nBuilding high-performing, geographically distributed engineering teams, including managing work transitions to offshore teams and multiple sites\nCoaching, mentoring, and developing top talent, including managers and senior technical leaders\nEstablishing software development standards, processes, and best practices for the entire organization\nDeveloping strategic plans to accomplish technical and business objectives with Product Management, executive leadership, and your team members\nEngaging directly with enterprise and government strategic accounts to understand technical requirements and resolve escalations\nRequired Qualifications\nMS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields\n15+ years of experience in a software engineering environment\n10+ years managing senior individual contributors and other leads/managers, including leading managers of managers\nDirect experience building network observability, network performance monitoring, or network/infrastructure management products\nStrong technical fluency in networking fundamentals and telemetry (TCP/IP, routing/switching, NetFlow/IPFIX, SNMP, packet analysis, WAN/SD-WAN) and key open source technologies -
