EDI Functional Consultants are responsible for communicating updates to the Project Manager regarding progress, accomplishments, and project risks. This role requires a consultant to be comfortable in client-facing environments and be able to communicate on all levels of the project. These team members are responsible for the implementation of EDI based modules of the BlueCherry application & are considered application specialists in this area to our organization and clients alike.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nServe as the subject matter expert for implementation EDI based solutions\nTroubleshoot issues with electronic file transfers to identify the root cause and issue resolution\nGuide client and assist in the onboarding of new EDI partners\nCollect and document new EDI business requirements, translate them into technical specifications in preparation of implementation\nInterfaced Trading Partners and 3rd party vendors to ensure successful testing of electronic transactions for existing and new business requirements\nConduct business process review meetings with clients to understand requirements for Retail EDI, 3PL, and BlueCherry Electronic Logistics EDI based integrations\nImplementation projects using standard methodology & industry best practices\nDocument our clients’ current processes and define to-be processes\nConfigure a customer driven solution to meet our clients’ business objectives\nProactively report to project manager and project team on project progress and issues\nProvide training to client staff on system functional features and capabilities\nWork with project teams, clients, third-party vendors, and cross functional teams collaboratively\nSkills Required:\nDedication to quality delivery\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to teach & train clients for successful adoption of a new platform or tool\nExcellent interpersonal skills & organizational skills\nDemonstrated history of building relationships with a strong customer service focus\nDiscipline needed to achieve daily & critical thinking, and credibility\nRequirements:\n BlueCherry experience\nA bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution\n+5 years of experience of managing day-to-day EDI operations\nSolid background of implementing and managing EDI transactions such as: 180, 832, 940, 943, 846, 944, 945, 94\nStrong Knowledge of CommerceHub, TrueCommerce, Shopify, Amazon\nExperience with transfer protocols, FTP\nProven success in leading, collaborating, and contributing to a team-oriented environment\nDetermined ability to keep people motivated\nRecognized ability to work creatively and logically in a problem-solving environment\nServiceNow, and Lucid chart experience is a
