As a natural collaborator and team focused individual, the Recruiter will be a key contributor to our Human Resources team in supporting and enhancing recruitment practices. You will also partner with business areas to provide recruitment guidance and support.\nIn this hybrid role, you will be required to commute to the Edmonton office.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO:\nWork collaboratively with our Human Resources team in supporting and delivering an innovative and effective recruitment approach in partnership with business areas.\nSupport all activities of the recruitment process including sourcing, scheduling, and facilitating interviews, administer assessments, reference checks, offer packages and onboarding.\nEnsure alignment of recruitment best practices.\nEnhance sourcing and marketing strategies to engage candidates.\nManage employee referral program.\nAssist business areas in attracting and retaining a strong talent pool, promoting our values based culture in the community while enhancing our recruitment function.\nRepresent the Human Resources team at internal and external events.\nEstablish and maintain productive relationships with external contacts to support our recruitment function.\nResponsible for maintaining accurate information in our applicant tracking system as well as reporting for recruitment measurements.\nWHAT YOU WILL HAVE:\nPost secondary diploma or degree in a related field. Specialization in Human Resources is an asset.\nPrevious recruitment experience, including use of social media platforms such as LinkedIn.\nExperience with various applications and software, including applicant tracking systems.\nProficient knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.\nExposure to benefits, workplace wellness and organizational effectiveness is beneficial.\nExcellent interpersonal skills coupled with highly developed written and verbal communication skills.\nMust be customer oriented and a strong team player.\nAbility to cope under pressure and handle sensitive situations with discretion.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet tight timelines.\nHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required.\nMust possess excellent time management and organizational skills.\nThis position will remain open until November 15, 2026.\nAlberta Blue Cross® is an inclusive employer committed to a workplace that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.
