We are seeking a Senior System Analyst professional to join our Identity Solutions team.\nThe successful candidate will provide technical leadership, solution design, development, operational support, and consultation services for business-critical identity, authentication, authorization, security, and access management solutions.\nThis role will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, project resources, and leadership to ensure the ongoing reliability, security, and evolution of Alberta Blue Cross' Identity Solutions portfolio.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO:\nIdentity Solutions Leadership\nProvide senior technical leadership and Identity domain expertise for Identity & Access Management services and related technologies, collaborating with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and project teams to guide solution design, support technology roadmaps, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business priorities.\nPartner with business and technical stakeholders to evaluate requirements, identify risks, and recommend effective solutions.\nContribute to the design, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of identity and access management solutions.\nMentor and support team members through knowledge sharing, technical guidance, and collaborative problem solving.\nSolution Delivery & Support\nLead the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support of enterprise identity solutions.\nSupport Business as Usual (BAU) operations, sustainment activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nParticipate in and lead troubleshooting efforts for complex production issues and major incidents.\nConduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and supportability.\nSupport project delivery, business enhancements, modernization initiatives, and strategic technology investments.\nSecurity & Compliance\nSupport authentication, authorization, role-based access control (RBAC), and identity governance processes.\nParticipate in vulnerability assessments, audit activities, access reviews, and security investigations.\nAssess technical, operational, and security risks and provide recommendations to stakeholders.\nSupport compliance with organizational security, privacy, and technology standards.\nWHAT YOU WILL HAVE\nBachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum 5-10 years of progressive Information Technology experience involving enterprise application design, development, implementation, and support.\nSenior-level experience with Java and or PL/SQL development is required. Preference will be given to those candidates with Java development experience.\nExtensive experience in identity, authentication, authorization, and access management technologies and practices. \nStrong understanding of identity federation, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Identity Governance. \nSignificant experience supporting Oracle Identity technologies including Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Oracle Access Manager (OAM), and Oracle Advanced Authentication (OAA).\nExperience supporting business-critical production systems and participating in incident response activities.\nDemonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives and provide consultation to business and technical stakeholders.\nStrong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nProven ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.\nCommitment to collaboration, continuous learning, and delivering exceptional customer service.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience leading identity-related projects, security initiatives, and strategic technology investments. \nExperience supporting Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions, including customer registration, self-service account management, authentication, and identity verification capabilities. \nKnowledge of healthcare, insurance, or highly regulated environments.\nThis position will remain open until a suitable candidate is selected.\nAlberta Blue Cross® is an inclusive employer committed to a workplace that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.
