Interested? Keep reading!\nYour tasks will include leading manufacturing process and product improvement initiatives throughout the production lifecycle. You will support the development of the PQM function, lead risk assessments, audits, and process improvement projects, and drive quality performance through KPI development and follow-up. Working closely with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders, you will contribute to improving manufacturing performance, product quality, and customer satisfaction while supporting validation, compliance, engineering change management, and productization activities.\nWe are looking for a proactive and quality-driven professional with a continuous improvement mindset. You hold a relevant technical degree and have experience in manufacturing, engineering, production quality, or supplier development. You have strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, production processes, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, Lean, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Experience in project management, auditing, validation activities, technical documentation, and customer-facing quality reporting is considered essential.\nWe also appreciate experience in driving process development and influencing stakeholders across functions. The role also includes business travel opportunities to visit and assess supplier processes and provides potential for future career growth based on experience and performance.\nMain responsibilities:\nDay-to-day operational tasks related to manufacturing process and manufactured products improvement initiatives & development projects\n\nContribute to continuous development of the Production Quality Management (PQM) function\n\nLead manufacturing process risk assessments (through audits and otherwise)\n\nLead manufacturing process development projects\n\nDrive for KPIs and metrics development (both in metrics creation / development and in driving quality development towards stricter target levels; i.e., improved FPY, decreased scrap and rework rates)\n\nSupport Supplier Quality Management function in alignment of manufacturing technologies and controls at suppliers\n\nSupport Customer Quality Management / Customer Experience Management in actively driving manufacturing processes and manufactured products quality development initiatives and projects\n\nLead production quality activities throughout the production lifecycle\n\nSupport FMEA activities, and visualizing quality performance in manufacturing areas\n\nMonitor customer quality performance and production quality performance using defined KPIs and metrics\n\nReporting, informing and escalation of potential risks and opportunities\n\nContribute to the Production Risk Register creation and maintenance\n\nInvolvement in Engineering Change Management process\n\nSupport productization-projects as PQM stakeholder\n\nSupport technical product compliance development initiatives (controls in production)\n\nSupport product and process validation activities\n\nWhat we expect from you\nTechnical degree, preferably B.Sc. / B.Eng. or M.Sc. / M.Eng. in design, manufacturing, mechanics engineering, electrical / electronic engineering, or similar\n\n5+ years in manufacturing / engineering and/or 3+ years of (senior) PQE initiatives and/or supply base development\n\nIn-depth knowledge of various manufacturing technologies relevant to Bluefors’ products (e.g., mechanics, vacuum, electrical/electronics, RF, cryogenics)\n\nUnderstanding of various mechanics/electrics/electronics component categories, including common manufacturing methods and failure types\n\nStrong understanding of quality toolset for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Actions & preventive Actions (CAPA)\n\nStrong understanding of production processes\n\nGeneral understanding of 5S and LEAN methodologies\n\nStrong understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodology and tool set\n\nLean Six Sigma green belt certified\n\nGeneral understanding of manufacturing test systems and tools (product validation)\n\nProject management skills & experience\n\n(Lead) auditor skills & experience\n\nTechnical writing skills & strong communication skills\n\nCapability to produce customer-facing documentation (RCA, CAPA - 8D)\n\nWe also appreciate\nCapability to initiate stakeholder process development\n\nCapability to contribute to build quality and safety in production manufacturing processes\n\nLean Six Sigma black belt certified\n\nLead Auditor certification\n\nUnderstanding technical product compliance requirements\n\nPlease apply as soon as possible, on November 8, 2026, at the latest through our recruitment system at BLUEFORS.COM.
