In this role, you will act as a key link between customers, service, sales, and engineering teams, helping ensure our cryogenic and technical systems operate at peak performance. Keep reading!\nYour tasks will include responding to and troubleshooting customer service inquiries, working directly with external customers and internal teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues. You will read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions to support assembly, installation, and repair activities. You will identify equipment malfunctions, procure or recommend replacement parts, and work through root-cause troubleshooting to restore system functionality. You will test units using standard test equipment, analyze performance results, and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation. You will assemble, test, and maintain circuitry or system components using hand tools and technical documentation. You will also adjust or replace defective components as needed and ensure equipment meets engineering specifications. In addition, you may travel to customer sites to perform commissioning, repairs, or field service support, ensuring timely and professional resolution of technical issues.\nMain Responsibilities include the following:\nFielding and troubleshooting customer service inquiries in a timely and professional manner.\n\nReading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions to assemble and service equipment.\n\nIdentifying and resolving equipment malfunctions, including coordinating with customers or field representatives to obtain replacement parts when needed.\n\nTesting units using standard test equipment and analyzing results to assess performance and determine required adjustments.\n\nAdjusting or replacing defective or improperly functioning circuitry or components using appropriate hand tools and techniques.\n\nAssembling, testing, and maintaining circuitry and components according to engineering specifications, technical manuals, and established procedures.\n\nVisiting customer sites as needed to repair, commission, or support equipment in the field.\n\nPerforming other duties as assigned to support the technical service function.\n\nWhat We Expect from You:\nA Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Field, or related discipline; or an Associate degree with at least three years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and hands-on technical experience.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.\n\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and cross-functional teams.\n\nStrong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to apply engineering principles in a practical environment.\n\nExperience using test equipment such as multimeters, gauges, and similar diagnostic tools.\n\nStrong critical thinking, active listening, and time management skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.\n\nExcellent command of English, both written and spoken.\n\nWe Also Appreciate:\nPrior experience in field service, technical support, or manufacturing environments.\n\nExposure to cryogenic systems, vacuum systems, or complex electromechanical equipment.\n\nExperience working with cross-functional engineering, sales, or service teams.\n\nA strong focus on attention to detail, safety, and quality in all aspects of work.\n\nDemonstrated adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.\n\nA proactive, customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of accountability.\n\nAbility to perform physical job requirements, including frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands and fingers; occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching; and lifting up to 25 lbs regularly, with up to 50 lbs occasionally in manufacturing environments.\n\nVisual capabilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\n\nExperience working in both office and manufacturing environments with exposure to moving mechanical parts, temperature variations, airborne particles, vibration, and electrical hazards while adhering to PPE requirements.\n\nUnderstanding that this role does not offer sponsorship for work authorization.\n\nAwareness that this position complies with Equal Opportunity Employment standards, ensuring consideration regardless of disability status, veteran status, or other protected characteristics.\n\nWe are offering you an interesting, challenging, and responsible position within a highly skilled technical organization.
