Keep reading!\nYour tasks will include ensuring supplier performance throughout the entire supplier lifecycle to ensure that suppliers consistently meet quality, delivery, regulatory, technical, and business requirements. The role acts as a supporting quality interface between the business and strategic suppliers, driving supplier quality excellence, risk mitigation, product conformity, operational reliability, and continuous improvement. Extensive cross-functional collaboration with Sourcing & Procurement, Supply Chain, Delivery Project Management, R&D / Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Quality Assurance & Quality Control, Compliance and Logistics & Warehouse. You will be supporting quality culture building activities, quality objective and key performance indicator fulfilment and support cross-functional activities in productization-projects. The role encompasses a fair amount of leading supplier assessments, leading supplier development initiatives and leading supplier development projects.\nWe are looking for a quality-driven professional with a continuous improvement mindset and strong stakeholder management skills. You hold a relevant technical degree and have experience in manufacturing, engineering, supplier quality, or supply base development. You have a solid understanding of manufacturing technologies, quality methodologies, Lean, and Lean Six Sigma, combined with experience in auditing, project management, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. Strong communication skills and excellent English are essential.\nWe also appreciate experience in supplier development, stakeholder influencing, and manufacturing process improvement. We have a multicultural work environment with room to grow, where you can use your potential and develop your skills.\nMain responsibilities:\nDay-to-day operational tasks related to supplier improvement initiatives & development projects\n\nContribute to continuous development of the Supplier Quality Management (SQM) function\n\nLead supplier onboarding activities with Sourcing and Procurement (S&P) function (supplier assessments)\n\nLead supplier risk assessments (through audits and otherwise)\n\nLead supplier development projects\n\nLead various component categories from SQM perspective, as counterpart for S&P category management\n\nLead supplier quality activities throughout the supplier lifecycle\n\nMonitor supplier performance using defined KPIs and metrics\n\nReporting, informing and escalation of potential risks and opportunities\n\nContribute to the Supplier Risk Register maintenance\n\nInvolvement in Engineering Change Management process (problem-reporting and as SQM stakeholder)\n\nSupport productization-projects as SQM stakeholder\n\nSupport supplier technical product compliance development initiatives (request of documentation and upkeep of repository)\n\nSupport product and process validation activities\n\nWhat we expect from you\nTechnical degree, preferably B.Sc. or B.Eng. in design, manufacturing, mechanics engineering, electrical / electronic engineering, or similar\n\n5+ years in manufacturing / engineering and/or 3+ years of SQE initiatives and supply base development\n\nIn-depth knowledge of various manufacturing technologies relevant to Bluefors’ products, to be able to lead certain component categories from SQM perspective (e.g., mechanics, vacuum, electrical/electronics, RF, cryogenics)\n\nUnderstanding of various mechanics/electrics/electronics categories, including common manufacturing failure types\n\nStrong understanding of quality toolset for Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions & preventive Actions\n\nGeneral understanding of production processes\n\nGeneral understanding of 5S and LEAN methodologies\n\nStrong understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodology and tool se\n\nLean Six Sigma green belt certified\n\nGeneral understanding of manufacturing test systems and tools (product validation)\n\nProject management skills & experience\n\nLead auditor skills & experience\n\nTechnical writing skills & strong communication skills\n\nWe also appreciate\nCapability to convince and initiate supplier manufacturing process development\n\nCapability to contribute to build quality and safety in supplier manufacturing processes\n\nLean Six Sigma black belt certified\n\nLead Auditor certification\n\nUnderstanding technical product compliance requirements is seen as a plus\n\nPlease apply as soon as possible, on November 8, 2026, at the latest through our recruitment system at BLUEFORS.COM.
