Bluejay is building the simulation, observability, and self-improvement layer for Voice AI agents.

Rohan and Faraz left AWS and Microsoft, where they built critical infrastructure for MSFT Copilot and AWS Bedrock to start Bluejay. Bluejay’s mission is to be the trust layer between AI and humanity. They are starting by developing simulation, observability, and self-improvement infrastructure to accelerate the adoption of Voice AI to be the default medium of interaction between humans and technology.

In just one year, Google, Doordash, public healthcare companies, public banks, most drive-through fast food chains, and corporations across 5 continents send Bluejay millions of calls monthly to understand and improve their Voice AI agents. We raised a 4m seed backed by Floodgate, PeakXV, and YC in 2025, and have been sustaining ourselves through our growth and revenue.

We are looking to make our first hire in Growth & Marketing. Our team has an extremely high bar (and deep appreciation) for guerilla marketing, and we are known to be the most creative startup in our space.

Here’s some fun stuff we’ve done on the marketing front:

• “Jump into the world of Bluejay ”: We launched our brand by jumping out of a plane in Bluejay onesies, setting a world record for Bluejay flight.

• “Do Not Disturb ”: We hung DND signs on every hotel room door of a massive conference our buyers attended, saying “Schedule your Conversational AI’s deep clean”

• “Bluejay Beats”: To close an enterprise customer, we created a parody of Don’t Stop Believin’ (Journey) and sang out the findings of our long testing report. Once again, in Bluejay onesies.

As our first growth & marketing hire, you will be responsible for:

Narrative & Brand

• Own Bluejay's story and positioning in a category that's still being defined
• Sharpen how we talk about simulation, evals, and observability for AI agents
• Build a brand technical buyers that buyers recognize, respect, and yearn to work with

• Vibes Connoisseur: You will own our merch store, office decor, and drip out the Bluejay family.

• Live in buyers heads rent-free

Content & Technical Storytelling

• Ship a steady stream of content that AI engineers and founders want to read
• Write (or direct) technical posts, launch announcements, case studies, and teardowns
• Make our customers' wins legible: what broke, what we caught, what it saved them
• Improve discoverability: SEO, GEO, and AI-native distribution

Demand & Growth

• Creative / Guerilla Marketing: think of exciting ways to gain mindshare in Voice AI evals and command a formidable budget to do so :)

• Build the engine that creates inbound pipeline and warms up accounts before outreach
• Run experiments across channels: social, email, paid, community, ecosystem
• Treat marketing like a product: test, measure, refine
• Obsess over what's working, what's not, and why

Product Marketing & Launches

• Own launches end to end
• Build positioning and competitive narratives sharp enough to win technical evals
• Arm the founders and SDR with messaging, decks, and assets that actually land

Community & Ecosystem

• Build Bluejay's presence across the voice + AI agent ecosystem
• Run events, dinners, and co-marketing motions alongside the founders
• Increase credibility and trust in enterprise and AI-native markets

At Bluejay, you’ll be working with some of the largest companies in the world to test, monitor, and improve their Voice AI agents. You’ll be working with marketing tech across the stack and taking full ownership for your work. We are small team of 10 punching well above our weight, and expect you to do so as well!
