This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Retail Cloud-particularly Merchandise Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS), Sales Audit (SACS), Invoice Matching (IMCS), and Price Management (RPCS)-and strong leadership in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.\nThe successful candidate will serve as the primary technical point of contact across Oracle Retail programs, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into robust system designs, while also managing vendor performance and ensuring long-term sustainability of our Oracle Retail landscape.\nKey Responsibilities\nSolution Delivery & ArchitectureLead the technical delivery of Oracle Retail Cloud solutions, with a focus on MFCS, SACS, Invoice Matching, and RPCS. \nProvide architectural oversight to ensure that solutions meet enterprise standards for performance, scalability, and security. \nTranslate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs. \nGuide teams in applying Oracle best practices for customizations, extensions, and integration development. \nConduct code reviews and troubleshoot complex technical issues with developers. \nDevelop and maintain technical documentation for designs, configurations, and processes.\n\nImplementation & Support OperationsOversee data migration, environment setup, system testing, cutover planning, and deployment activities. \nManage ongoing platform operations including patch management, performance optimization, and version upgrades. \nDefine and enforce SLAs and operational support models in collaboration with managed service providers. \nLead resolution of post-production issues and ensure timely delivery of hotfixes or enhancements.\n\nVendor & Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary liaison between business units, technical teams, and vendors.\nManage technology vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. \nCoordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on delivery priorities and milestones. \nCollaborate with Oracle to stay current on new capabilities, platform updates, and release schedules.\n\nAudit, Compliance & GovernanceParticipate in annual audits by providing system documentation and controls related to financial systems and Oracle Retail. \nEnsure Oracle Retail implementations and operations comply with enterprise standards for data integrity, access controls, and audit readiness. \nMaintain oversight of compliance and risk management related to Oracle Retail architecture and integrations.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n7+ years of experience leading Oracle Retail implementations, including 3+ years on Oracle Retail cloud-based platforms.\nStrong domain expertise in MFCS, SACS, Invoice Matching, and RPCS modules.\nHands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL, XML, REST/SOAP web services, and Oracle integration tools (OIC, VBCS, APEX). \nProven ability to manage and govern technology vendor delivery across implementation and support lifecycles. \nExpertise in managing production support, performance tuning, and Oracle Retail lifecycle operations. \nExperience with cloud-based integration platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, or Boomi. \nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and solution architecture skills. \nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. \nPreferred Qualifications\nRetail industry experience. \nOracle Retail Cloud certifications. \nExperience managing Oracle Retail solutions in mid to large organizations. \nFamiliarity with Agile or hybrid implementation methodologies.\nProven success managing technical SLAs, vendor escalations, and delivery governance.\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience in a technical role.
