In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and verifying FPGA firmware for secure communications systems. You will work closely with our Electrical Hardware Design and Systems Engineering teams to deliver robust, high-performance solutions in support of Blue Origin's mission.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, simulate, and verify FPGA firmware for COMSEC applications\n\nCollaborate closely withcircuit designersandembedded developersthroughout the full development lifecycle\n\nDefine and document firmware architecture, requirements, and interfaces\n\nPerform FPGA synthesis, place-and-route, and timing analysis\n\nSupport hardware bring-up, integration, and testing activities\n\nTroubleshoot and debug firmware issues in lab and field environments\n\nContribute to design reviews and technical documentation\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field\n\n10+ years of experience in FPGA firmware development\n\nProficiencyin VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog\n\nExperience with FPGA toolchains (XilinxVivado, Intel Quartus, etc.)\n\nStrong understanding of digital design principles, timing constraints, and verification methodologies\n\nWorking knowledge of AXI bus implementations\n\nExperience working with hardware design teams and interpreting schematics\n\nAbility to obtain andmaintaina U.S. Government Security Clearance\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nActive Top Secret security clearance strongly preferred\n\nExperience in COMSEC, cryptographic systems, or securecommunications\n\nExposure to zero-trust security architecture principles and implementation\n\nFamiliarity with high-speed serial interfaces (PCIe,SpaceWire,Ethernet,etc.)\n\nExperience with DO-254 or other hardware development assurance standards\n\nKnowledge of embedded systems and hardware/firmware co-design\n\nBase Pay Range for:\nCO applicants is $181,626.00 - $254,275.35Other site ranges may differ\nCulture Statement\nDon’t meet all desired requirements?
