Build what matters.\n\nAbout the RoleIn this role, you'll work as a hands-on network engineer supporting enterprise and data center network infrastructure in a production environment. You'll be responsible for executing day-to-day network operations, including network moves, adds, and changes (MAC), deployments, migrations, maintenance, lifecycle activities, upgrades, troubleshooting, and change implementation.\nYou'll work within established engineering and operational standards, maintain accurate documentation, support successful network cutovers and transitions, and help ensure reliable operation of critical network services. This role calls for someone who can independently execute assigned networking work items with minimal oversight while collaborating closely with engineering teams and escalating design, access, or technical blockers when appropriate.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport day-to-day network engineering and operations across enterprise, data center, and lab network environments.\n\nExecute Network Move, Add, and Change (MAC) requests and other operational networking work items.\n\nPerform network deployments, migrations, configuration changes, and infrastructure transitions.\n\nSupport network maintenance, lifecycle refreshes, upgrades, and infrastructure improvement activities.\n\nTroubleshoot complex network issues across Layer 2 and Layer 3 environments and identify appropriate resolutions.\n\nExecute planned network changes and cutovers while following established change management and operational procedures.\n\nSupport monitoring, operational transition, and post-change validation activities.\n\nMaintain accurate technical documentation, network configurations, procedures, and operational records.\n\nFollow standardized network deployment, maintenance, and operational processes.\n\nIdentify and escalate technical, access, design, or implementation blockers in a timely manner.\n\nWork independently to complete assigned work items with minimal day-to-day oversight.\n\nCollaborate remotely with network engineers and other technical stakeholders to coordinate implementations and resolve operational issues.\n\nSupport reliable network operations while helping engineering teams maintain capacity for strategic projects and new service onboarding.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n5 or more years of professional experience in network engineering.\n\n5 or more years of experience with enterprise Layer 2/Layer 3 network engineering.\n\n5 or more years of experience supporting network platform operations.\n\n5 or more years of experience executing network changes in production environments.\n\nExperience supporting enterprise-scale, data center, or similarly complex network environments.\n\nExperience troubleshooting network infrastructure and resolving operational issues.\n\nExperience performing network maintenance, upgrades, migrations, or infrastructure changes.\n\nAbility to independently execute assigned network engineering work with minimal supervision.\n\nExperience following established network deployment, change management, and operational procedures.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting large-scale enterprise or data center network environments.\n\nExperience working with lab network infrastructure and associated operational requirements.\n\nDemonstrated experience independently managing MAC requests, network deployments, migrations, and cutovers.\n\nExperience with network lifecycle management, infrastructure refreshes, and upgrades.\n\nExperience supporting production network environments where reliability and change success are critical.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across complex networking environments.\n\nExperience with network monitoring, operational transition, and post-change validation.\n\nExperience creating and maintaining detailed network documentation and operational procedures.\n\nFamiliarity with highly standardized enterprise network engineering environments and processes.\n\nAbility to quickly ramp up on existing network architectures, tools, standards, and operational procedures.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills in a remote engineering environment.\n\nDemonstrated ability to prioritize work, meet planned deliverables, and escalate blockers proactively.\n\nCompensationAt Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.\nFor candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated compensation range is $45.00 - $50.00 USD per hour. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
