Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands.\nIn this business-critical role, you will provide hands-on electrical maintenance services to our production teams who operate within a continuous manufacturing environment. You'll achieve this by:\nisolating equipment and performing corrective maintenance on the machines\ninspecting equipment and identifying faults, taking necessary actions to repair these\nresponding to and resolving machine breakdowns with a sense of urgency\ncontinually seeking opportunities to improve our maintenance strategies\nMore About You\nWe are on the lookout for dedicated team players and being a qualified Industrial Electrician, you will bring:\na Trade qualification in Electrotechnology\nan Australian Unrestricted Electrical Licence\na reasonable understanding of mechanical aptitude and maintenance in previous roles\nproven experience with PLC fault finding and PLC programming, utilising Siemens S7, TIA and SCADA systems or equivalent\nthe ability to work both independently and as part of a manufacturing team\nWhy BlueScope\nAs we’re creating strength for the future through our people, products and solutions, BlueScope supports you to build your expertise within a safe and positive team environment.
