The Data Analyst-Health, Principal role will report to the Senior Director, Provider Services-Network. In this role you will provide consultative services and support for various strategic and tactical initiatives and projects. We are looking for leaders that are energized by creative and critical thinking, building and sustaining high-performing teams, getting results the right way, and fostering continuous learning.\n Your Work\nIn this role, you will:\nLead projects end-to-end, working with the client and stakeholders, and delivering the outcomes expected\nInteract with stakeholders, including face-to-face meetings, to gather data and information pertinent to the engagement\nConsult with all levels (including senior management), making recommendations, and influencing decision making\nCollaborate with various business units as a thought partner and expert: Work cross-functionally in analyzing, designing, and developing business solutions\nParticipate and collaborate with cross-functional workgroups; support other internal teams such as Contracting, Provider Partnerships, Delegation Oversight, and Provider Operations in developing strategies for improving overall processes, data integrity, and new mandates/regulatory requirements impacting provider networks\nProvide complex analysis for insight and recommendation: Synthesize from complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods for management review and present to various levels of management\nSummarize findings and present data in formats such as Excel pivots, PowerPoint, Tableau, reports, grids, and tables\nDetermine key business issues, develop effective action plans, and implement them to successful conclusion\nFacilitate and manage the roll-out of operational process changes within the team; develop required training documentation, provide mentoring, and facilitate training sessions in support of a successful roll-out \nDevelop deliverables that are relevant and easily consumable that allow internal and external customers to receive the information intuitively; provide consultation services to customers on an ad hoc basis or in a formal presentation format\n Your Knowledge and Experience\nRequires a Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree. A Master’s degree (MPH, MBA, MS, MA) is preferred\nRequires 10 years of experience in Health Care (managed care, academic, or government payer)\nIntermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (i.e. ability to model, use formulas, etc.) is preferred\nExperience with Microsoft Access (i.e. link tables, run queries, etc.), Tableau, and SAS is preferred\nExcellent interpersonal skills, communication, and presentation skills. Including previous experience in presenting to leaders\nExceptional problem-solving and analytical skills\nAbility to work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution and move people and organizations to act\nAbility to influence leaders and stakeholders with no direct reporting relationship\nAbility to work independently, proactively, and with little direction\nBroad knowledge of project management is preferred\nHybrid\nThis role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility.
