Program Coordinator, Experienced

Your Role

The Medical Care Programs team is responsible for managing programs and partnerships that support members with their health care, drive savings, and improve quality. The Program Coordinator, Experienced will report to the Senior Manager. In this role you will support the program management team in operations and oversight of various programs, planning and implementation of AI solutions, analysis, coordination, stakeholder engagement, documentation and more.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for strategic alignment and integration across projects/programs, from initiation through delivery, in support of business unit process and administrative efficiency
• Define projects required to support programs and partners to ensure their implementation on time, within budget and with benefits realized
• Participate cross-functionally in business planning to support business unit strategy
• Be responsible for large/complex projects/programs
• Exercise independent judgement in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results
• Manage aspects of vendor selection and implementation
• Engage cross-functionally to enhance and enable key health plan functions, such as care management, with innovative new solutions
• Participate in evaluation, oversight and monitoring activities for AI solutions
• Support operations and partnerships through planning, coordination activities, documentation and analysis

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• 3 years of prior relevant experience
• Prefers familiarity with health care data and the health care delivery system in California; health plan or provider experience strongly desired
• Prefers experience related to member- or provider-facing programs, such as Utilization Management or Care/Case Management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders to drive requirements and coordination
• Strong organizational and/or project management skills, consistent ability to "self-start,” take ownership and seek assistance when necessary

Hybrid

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.

Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
