The Behavioral Health Program Manager, Principal will report to the Director of Behavioral Health Strategic Planning and Performance. In this role you will strengthen the performance of the Behavioral Health program by transforming reporting, trend analysis and issue identification into actionable insights that support leadership decision making and program improvements. We are looking for leaders that are energized by creative and critical thinking, building and sustaining high-performing teams, getting results the right way, and fostering continuous learning.\n Your Work\nIn this role, you will:\nOperate at a strategic business level to ensures projects/programs are in line with Blue Shield of California strategic goals\nConsult with all levels including senior management, make recommendations, and influence decision-making\nLeverage cross-functional internal and external relationships to drive initiatives forward\nPlan and implement multiple and extremely complex projects/programs spanning across business areas\nDetermine key business issues, develop effective action plans and implement to successful conclusion\nFacilitate the generation of monthly, quarterly and ad hoc performance reporting through active engagement of Behavioral Health Leadership and Analytics teams; enabling trend analysis, messaging, mitigation planning and execution\nServe as the primary point of contact for the collection and management of Behavioral Health program opportunities; conduct root cause analysis, feasibility assessments and action plans that provide visibility to BHS and the organization \n Your Knowledge and Experience\nBachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree \nRequires 10 years of prior relevant experience\nRequires experience with Behavioral Health operations, quality and/or performance management\nKeen analytical skills, including the ability to identify trends, assess business impact and translate findings into actionable recommendations required\nRequires excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to actively engage leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, as well as clearly summarize performance, risks, opportunities and value outcomes\nStrong organizational skills, including the ability to manage initiative tracking, maintain portfolio-level visibility and support follow-through on key actions \nHybrid\nThis role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility.
