We’re looking for an Accountant to be the primary owner for tax and reporting compliance. States and are authorized to work without visa sponsorship.\nRepresentative Duties and Responsibilities:\nAssist with all tax reporting and compliance - state, local, and federal - we have employees in 43 states - using Avalara and payroll processor.\n\nHandle all employee onboarding / offboarding and payroll reporting into NetSuite GL\n\nValidate payroll and related tax compliance for reconciliation into NetSuite\n\nManage annual reporting for Contractors - 1099s\n\nAssist with financial, tax, workers’ compensation and 401k audits\n\nAssist with preparation and/or review of daily entries and month-end reconciliations\n\nDocument accounting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and strengthen internal controls\n\nAssist the Corporate Controller and Accounting Team with other projects as needed\n\nRequired Qualifications and Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or related area\n\nAt least 3 years of general accounting experience, preferably within a SaaS company\n\nExperience using NetSuite and Avalara in a professional setting, preferably within a SaaS company\n\nUnderstanding of US GAAP accounting principles\n\nExperience with multi-state tax compliance requirements\n\nExperience with Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookup formulas required\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable communicating with individuals at all levels of an
