When something breaks, our clients need someone who can walk in, find the fault and fix it.\nThe RoleYou are our engineer on the ground. You install, run and fix the servers, networks, cameras and RFID readers our software runs on, at client sites across Singapore, and you keep our cloud environments healthy too. Most of your time is on site and in the lab, hands-on with real equipment, with our development team behind you for anything deep in the code.\nIf you are a system engineer, infrastructure engineer or field service engineer who enjoys hardware and wants to grow into DevOps and cloud, this role is for you. You will pick up the cloud side on the job.\nWhat You Will DoOn Site\nInstall, commission and maintain Linux and Windows servers, VMware or Hyper-V hosts, switches and firewalls at client premises, including secure sites with no internet access\nSet up and troubleshoot IP cameras, NVRs, video management systems and RFID readers and antennas\nPatch and update systems offline using approved media and local repositories\nRun and verify backup and recovery jobs, e.g. Veeam\nKeep site records accurate: configurations, asset lists, network diagrams and runbooks\nIncidents\nBe the first responder for production issues on your assigned client systems\nReach the client site within 8 hours for critical incidents\nTake part in an on-call rotation, about 1 week in every XXXX\nFind the root cause, fix it, and write up what happened and how we stop it recurring\nBring in our developers, vendors or integrators when needed\nCloud and Automation\nDeploy and look after our applications on AWS, Azure or GCP across development, staging and production\nMonitor systems with Zabbix or similar and act on alerts before clients notice\nGrow into CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform and Ansible, with support from the team\nWhat You NeedAt least 2 years hands-on with servers and networks as a system engineer, infrastructure engineer, field service engineer, IT support engineer, NOC engineer or similar\nSolid Linux and Windows Server administration\nNetworking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls and switch configuration\nMethodical troubleshooting across both hardware and software\nComfortable working on client premises, and able to reach a site within 8 hours for critical incidents, including after hours during your on-call week\nAble to obtain security clearance for defence and government projects.
