We value ownership, autonomy, flexibility, communication and teamwork\nRole & responsibilities\nProject management\nAct as a trusted advisor to clients and partners: identify their needs, shape the solution and vision and define short- and medium-term roadmaps in coordination with partners, country managers, and technical leads.\n\nMonitor the project from design to completion, including delivery of the final solution and capacity building.\n\nOversee project implementation and ensure it achieves its objectives, while managing budgets, donor reporting, and contractual obligations\n\nNavigate complex institutional and governance environments, engaging effectively with ministries, donors, and multiple stakeholders, including where roles overlap.\n\nEnsure the quality of deliverables and reports in collaboration with technical leads.\n\nUse and update Bluesquare’s project management tools (JIRA and Odoo).\n\nTechnical interface\nDevelop a strong understanding of Bluesquare's portfolio of technical solutions, including their architecture, capabilities, and limitations, and use it to guide design choices.\n\nParticipate in continuous analysis of clients’ needs and advise on solutions to be implemented.\n\nCoordinate with the technical team throughout the project to ensure deliverables meet requirements.\n\nTake part in functional testing and validation (e.g. UAT, checking configuration against specifications) to ensure quality before delivery.\n\nContinuously assess progress to ensure alignment between the client’s needs and the technical solutions Bluesquare is implementing, and reorient if necessary.\n\nWork hands-on with the tools used in the projects (Dhis2, Iaso, OpenHexa, BI Tools - Tableau, PowerBI, Superset).\n\nAdditional responsibilities\nParticipate in proposal development and the identification of new business opportunities.\n\nContribute to the continuous improvement and development of our internal tools and methodologies.\n\nIdentify and implement strategies that ensure the long-term growth and sustainability of our projects.\n\nAdapt and take on other relevant project management responsibilities as the role evolves.\n\nYou will directly respond to the Project Management Lead, and work under the supervision of a Practice Lead depending on the projects you are assigned to.\nPotential projects you may work on:\nGlobal nutrition monitoring for a UN agency : Coordinate the deployment and scale-up of a data collection and workflow management application built on Bluesquare's IASO platform, supporting nutrition programs across several countries (e.g. South Sudan, Ethiopia, Nigeria). The project involves real-time data capture, NFC smartcard management, and strengthening country office capacity to manage and expand the solution independently.\n\nHealth information system strengthening : Lead the implementation of a DHIS2 Tracker for a nationwide disease program, from initial scoping to production, in a country where Bluesquare is not yet established. The project includes configuring the system to country-specific requirements, ensuring interoperability with existing systems, and building the capacity of the local technical team to operate the tool autonomously.\n\nProfile\nWe are looking for an experienced candidate with strong project management and technical skills, notably:\nRequired:\nAt least 8-10 years of relevant professional experience\n\nProfessional experience in large International Development or Global Health projects\n\nExperience managing medium to large projects in a multicultural environment\n\nExperience with client contact and multi-stakeholder cooperation\n\nExperience with design and implementation of digital tools projects\n\nExcellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (C1 level minimum required)\n\nKnowledge of DHIS2, GIS, Data Management\n\nPreferred:\nExperience in projects involving complex data analysis\n\nKnowledge of programming and of software development
