This is a field-based role focused primarily on telecoms and connectivity, with a basic IT support element.\nYou'll install, maintain and troubleshoot hosted voice, telephony and connectivity solutions, attending both planned installations and reactive service calls. You'll become a trusted face for our partners, providing excellent customer service while taking ownership of incidents through to resolution.\nTravel is required, including occasional overnight stays. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have the right to work in the UK.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDiagnose and resolve on-site telephony, voice and connectivity issues.\nDeliver handset deployments, telephony installations and moves/adds/changes.\nInstall and troubleshoot SIP trunks, broadband circuits, routers, switches and firewalls.\nCarry out proactive maintenance visits and site health checks.\nCoordinate with carriers, suppliers and Openreach engineers.\nProvide basic first-line IT support for desktops, laptops, printers and Microsoft 365 queries.\nOwn incidents through to resolution, escalating where required.\nMaintain accurate documentation within HaloPSA and ITGlue.\nDeliver excellent customer service and identify opportunities for improvement.\nParticipate in a shared on-call rota.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential\nMinimum 2 years' experience in a telecoms, communications, MSP or field engineering role.\nStrong VoIP and hosted telephony experience.\nUnderstanding of SIP, RTP, NAT and networking fundamentals.\nExperience with routing, switching, VLANs, wireless and firewalls.\nStructured cabling, patching, testing and handset deployment experience.\nStrong customer-facing and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and manage your own workload.\nFull UK driving licence.\nDesirable\nMicrosoft 365 and general IT support experience.\nMicrosoft Teams Phone, Direct Routing and Operator Connect knowledge.\nExperience with Gamma, Horizon, CallSwitch, Yealink or similar platforms.\nFamiliarity with SonicWall, UniFi, Aruba or DrayTek networking.\nCompTIA Network+, MS-900, AZ-900 or other relevant certifications.\nExperience using HaloPSA, ITGlue, Datto or similar MSP tools.\nTechnologies You'll Work
