This leader will, in partnership with leadership, connect business priorities with day-to-day execution, improving customer outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial performance.\nThe ideal candidate brings sound executive judgment, a record of scaling operations, and a willingness to work directly with teams to solve problems in an entrepreneurial environment.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead Strategy and Execution\nPartner with the CEO to turn company strategy into operating plans, clear priorities, and measurable goals.\nEstablish leadership routines, performance dashboards, and accountability across teams.\nLead cross-functional initiatives, resolve dependencies, and align resources with business priorities.\nStrengthen Payments Operations\nOversee scalable payments operations, including merchant onboarding, processing, settlement, reconciliation, disputes, and exception management.\nStrengthen relationships with processors, acquiring partners, banks, and technology providers.\nPartner with Finance and Payments leadership to improve payment economics, efficiency, and margins.\nCollaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Legal to maintain effective controls and manage operational risk.\nScale Customer Delivery and Technology Readiness\nImprove implementation, onboarding, customer success, and support to deliver a consistent customer experience.\nPartner with Product and Engineering to ensure new products and integrations launch with operational readiness.\nBuild repeatable workflows and use automation and AI to improve productivity, accuracy, and service quality.\nPartner closely with the Technology team to define, refine, and prioritize operational and non-functional requirements for future capabilities, ensuring scalability and supportability.\nCollaborate with the Technology team to monitor production health, streamline incident response workflows, and maintain high system availability and strict SLA compliance for merchants.\nDevelop Leaders and Improve Performance\nBuild and coach leaders who set clear expectations and deliver results.\nPartner with Finance on budgets, forecasts, staffing, vendor spending, and resource allocation.\nUse operational and financial data to identify opportunities and guide decisions.\nProvide clear executive reporting on performance, risks, and priorities.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nSignificant progressive leadership experience in payments or fintech, including responsibility for multiple functions and developing leaders.\nDirect experience in payment processing, merchant acquiring, payment facilitation, embedded payments, or a payments-enabled software business.\nStrong understanding of payment operations, processor relationships, settlement, reconciliation, disputes, and payment economics.\nDemonstrated success scaling teams, processes, and operating infrastructure in a growing organization.\nStrong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability improvement.\nA record of delivering complex initiatives across operational, technical, and commercial teams.\nStrong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.\nAbility to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.\nAbility to work fully onsite in Draper, Utah.\nPreferred Experience\nCOO, General Manager, Head of Operations, or VP/SVP of Operations experience with comparable scope.\nExperience partnering directly with a founder or CEO.\nBackground spanning payments operations, business operations, product operations, or program management.\nExperience with card and ACH payments, recurring billing, collections technology, or payments-enabled SaaS.\nExperience serving automotive finance, consumer lending, property management, or related industries.\nSuccess in This Role\nYou’ll create clear alignment around company priorities, build reliable operations that support growth, improve the customer experience, and develop accountable teams that consistently deliver
