If you share our vision and view yourself as an independent, creative thinker, we invite you to join our team in this exceptional role located in Mountain View, CA.\nWHAT AWAITS YOU.\nLead the transfer of cutting-edge technologies and know-how from partners into BMW IT concepts and delivery processes.\nFunctionally steer a team to build competence in emerging IT technologies, develop prototypes, and gain support within BMW and partner departments.\nEstablish and maintain partnerships with high-tech companies, universities, and the IT community to drive innovation and cultural change.\nDefine, develop, and manage national/international research projects, leading technical teams and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.\nScout and assess promising IT technologies in areas such as predictive analytics, cloud services, IoT, digitalization, and connected car infrastructure.\nOversee scientific and technical research efforts, prepare and present project status reports to management and global IT innovation networks.\nSupervise interns, contractors, and organize meetings, workshops, and collaboration events in the field of expertise.\nManage project administration including work programs, schedules, budgets, documentation, milestone monitoring, and escalation as needed.\nWHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, computer/electrical engineering, mathematics, physics (or related fields) or 6 years of experience as a software engineer/developer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule.
