START WITH WHAT INTERESTS YOU.\nThe Credit Analyst is responsible for the credit management of part of the commercial finance portfolio, which requires prudent lending decisions and close monitoring and control to avoid losses whilst enabling growth and profitability.\nBMW Financial Services, Farnborough, Credit Analyst - Placement Year (July 2027)\nWhat awaits you?\n\nInterpretation of financial information and other KPIs to make prudent decisions balancing risk & reward\nPrepare credit reports with lending recommendation and conditions\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers\nMonitor the Early Warning System and take action as appropriate to mitigate our risk\nUnderstanding and interpretation of credit risk & collateral policy and business strategy to ensure that targets are achieved and maintained\nMaintain credit records and limits.\nSupport creation of monthly reports for the Local Credit Committee(s)\nIdentify and implement business process improvements to ensure effective and efficient credit review and monitoring procedures.\nEnsuring lending processes always meet the regulatory requirements.\nSupport Commercial Finance Area Manages with design and packaging of credit proposals to ensure adherence with central and local Credit Risk and Collateral Policies.\nEngagement with Credit Management Department to share/learn best practice across all markets.\nImplement recommendations from Credit Road Map assessments to improve the Compliance and Governance Management Maturity level across the various credit topics.\nWhat should you bring along?\n\nStudying for an undergraduate degree in Business Management or similar and in line to achieve a 2:1 or above.\nBasic customer services experience (i.e. retail/hospitality).\nMicrosoft Office (incl.
