Executes benchmarking with BMW Group Plants and implements best practices.\nUnderstands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.\nAdheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.\nPerforms other duties as assigned by management.\nQualifications:\nBA/BS degree in Engineering or related technical discipline OR AA/AS degree in a technical field AND 2 years of professional manufacturing experience in quality or product design OR The equivalent of 4 years of professional manufacturing experience in quality or product design.\n2+ years of professional tactile and/or optical metrology equipment experience in a manufacturing environment.\n1+ years of experience reading blueprints, drawings, and/or measurement plans.\n1+ years of CAD experience (CATIA preferred).\n1+ years of metrology software experience (Polyworks, Calypso, and/or Zeiss Inspect (GOM) preferred).\nValid Driver's License (preferred)\nMetrology or GD&T professional certificate (preferred)\nLean Six Sigma Greenbelt training (preferred)\nBlitz HV2 (preferred) \n3+ years of MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Access).\n3+ years of professional communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).\n2+ years knowledge of Body, Assembly, Quality, or Battery processes (preferred).\n2+ years knowledge of 3D alignment (preferred).\n2+ years of problem-solving skills.\n2+ years knowledge of developing, understanding, and applying 3D alignment schemes.\n2+ years of tactile and optical measurement equipment skills.\n1+ years of automated measurement programming skills (preferred).\n1+ years of mechanical skills in a virtual and hands-on environment.\n1+ years of leadership skills.\nGerman language skills (preferred).\nBMW Manufacturing is a leader in innovations and excellence.
