Our engineers are vital to the innovation and digitalization of BMW Group's driving machines, production, sales and banking processes, and you could be part of our evolving teams. \nWhat awaits you \nCollaborate with the development team to design, execute, and analyse automated test cases using Selenium/Playwright and Cucumber/other automation testing tools\n\nImplement Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to create efficient and reusable test scripts, ensuring code quality and maintainability\n\nConduct API testing with automation tooling to verify application functionality and back-end integrations\n\nTrack, document, and manage test cases and bug reports within Jira and Xray to support effective communication and workflow among team members\n\nUtilize version control with GitHub to maintain and share test code, collaborating seamlessly with the rest of the team\n\nWork within an IDE to write and refine code, debugging as necessary to enhance automated test accuracy and efficiency \n\nWhat should you bring along \nUniversity Degree in Computer Science or a related field\n\nAt least 3-4 years of experience on a similar role is required\n\nProficiency in the following automation scripting languages: Java and JavaScript/TypeScript\n\nFamiliarity with Selenium/Playwright and Cucumber for test automation\n\nBasic knowledge of HTML & CSS for front-end validation during testing\n\nExperience with automation for API testing and GitHub for version control\n\nUnderstanding of Jira and Xray for test management and documentation\n\nCan be helpful to know database-related test scenarios\n\nStrong process orientation and ability to follow structured testing workflows\n\nDetail-oriented with a high degree of attentiveness to test case accuracy and bug tracking\n\nDemonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools or processes as needed\n\nPatience to thoroughly test, debug, and document findings accurately\n\nNice to have skills on web-based mobile (mostly iPhone) application testing\n\nExcellent English verbal and written skills\n\nGerman communication skills will be a plus\n\nWhat do we offer?
